Hi!

http://www.revleft.com/vb/honesty-best-policy-t71996/index.html

I note that you have a new section for serious discussions between capitalists and communists (OI Learning (http://www.revleft.com/vb/oi-learning-f233/index.html)). Would it be possible to set up such a subforum for non-English speakers? This would enrich the cultural environment of your site.

Respectfully,

Although this is only my personal observation, it seems to me that the vast majority of OI'ers speak English as a first language, although I do know of exceptions. This would make such a subforum very much underused.

In addition, the non-English forums on the main site don't get used very much - even in common languages like French and Dutch.

Perhaps we should wait until more of the regular OI users have their say on this? Obviously some non OI users would chip in too.

We barely use normal ones, not make just for OIers.I mod the greek one, which greece is known for leftist activity, and still we are having some "dead" periods..So no..

In addition to what fuser has covered.

The largest number of OIers I have seen posting at any one time is 7 or so. Even if every single one of these people had english as a second language it would not make sense to create non-english forums on a primarily english website.

Case (and thread) closed.
