can anyone help me understand this? im guessing it means "good job" but it is a really weird way to say it haha.

I refers to the practice by religious women of the viking times. They would cut their nose off so that when the Vikings came they wouldn't want to rape them and that way they could keep their virginity. At least thats what I remember the reasoning being.

It basically means you do something stupid out of anger even though it hurts you (i think).
