Me and gacky are real big utopian socialism fans and yet we have read little leftist books at all besides Marx's work and quotaions from chairman Mao ZeDong. I have also read a few books on the rise and fall of the soviet empire. What we would really like is to get some books on utopian socialism and its explanation in political theories. Me and Gacky have summer school and we're not about to just go to school and pay attention to the subject material. WE WANT TO READ!!!! really, do any of you know any kind of good books on this topic??

Yes, I have a book about Saint Simone but, unfortunatelly only on croatian...
So if you want to know anything about Utopian socialism read Saint Simone, Comte, Fourier, classics of sociology...

Marx and Mao were not proponents of Utopian Socialism, they advocated Scientific Socialism. Which is it you want?

If you are interested in utopian novels, I would like to advise you " The city of the Sun " by Kampanella and " The states and the empires of the Moon" by Sirano de Berjerak.
I think that you have already read " The Utopy" by Thomas Mor. If you haven't , then read it.

Utopy is good, but advise you to read some theoretical literature. That is where reality starts.

I KNOW! that is what i'm saying. I have read Mao, Marx, and Lenin, but they are not proponents of utopian socialism. I want utopian socialism literature. I have already read some work from Cherskovsky, if that is how you spell his name. Thanx for everything else you guys suggested. I will be sure to look for all of the books and authors mentioned. Thank you guys.
