Has anyone here seen the movie, In The Name of The Father? If so, would you happen to know the name of the book that Gerard Conlon wrote about his wrongful imprisonment.

Thanx

I could've sworn that he didn't write that. I think thats just a movie novel (you know book based on the movie), but I could be wrong. Thanks for your input SM :)

Yes, Gerry Conlon wrote in the Name of the Father. Also, there is a book on the subject written by his aunt, Annie Maguire, who as you know was picked up for IRA activities after him. Can't find the information on the book. But, I read both a few years ago. Her book condemns him for getting her involved though. Also, on a sidenote: Paul Hill is married to Courtney Kennedy, a daughter of Robert Kennedy. :(:( Apparently, the Kennedys worked on the campaign to free him. Can you imagine though. living 15 years in an English Prison as an Irish Terrorist, (and you know how they were treated- on the boards and all.) and then get out and be thrusted into the pretentious Kennedy clan? ekkk. That must be some cultural shock. I imagine he suffers from Post-Traumatic Stress Syndrome.

How many Kennedeys are left standing anyways? I don't think it should matter who your inlaws are; does Paul Hill live in London? Who wrote the book: Proved Innocent?

I think that has to do with a similar topic, but can't remember. Thanks a lots for the info Paris, I'll look for the book by his aunt :):)

Proved Innocent might be the name of the Annie McGuire book. I don't know, my brain is like a sieve!

I think Paul Hill is living in the Kennedy Compound in Hiannisport, Mass.

no kidding, its a mad, mad world. I'm sure living with the Kennedys is better than Northern England prisons.

Yeah, before he was living with the freedom fighters, now he lives with a bunch of criminals. Ironic huh?

Nah, he's safe, the Kennedys only bump off/rape women. As far as we know.
