Invites YOU to join us at our historic first meeting at the new
F.I.S.T. headquarters
Saturday, August 22, 1-3 p.m.
5920 Second Avenue, Detroit
Free and open to the public
Food and beverages will be provided.
Youth of the Detroit area will gather to formally vote on the programs
F.I.S.T will implement in Detroit. Your vote will decide which actions
F.I.S.T. undertakes.
At this meeting also meet and hear national F.I.S.T. leader Larry
Hales speak on the upcoming G20 protests in Pittsburgh, the ongoing
nationwide fightbacks against police brutality, socialism and more. To

F.I.S.T. is one of our country’s premier activist youth organizations.
If you have been looking for a strong core of people to link up with,
to make a real difference in our communities this is your chance. Get
in at the beginning, vote on the programs and actions we will take
while fighting for a better society.
If you are a coffee shop activist…F.I.S.T is NOT the group for you.
F.I.S.T is about action! We go to the protests, drop banners, clean up
overgrown parks in the hood so kids have a safe place to play, and we
make our voice heard above the roar of corporate owned media.
