I was fortunate enough to catch Rock the Bells, DEN when I was visiting the USA over the last month. I was just curious as to whether other members on here saw any of the dates on the tour?
Despite Red Rocks being a phenomenal natural ampitheatre, it's a bit smaller than the other venues so I was bummed to see some of the big names give it a skip, as well as some of the smaller names who I was looking forward to seeing. The fact that La Coka/House of Pain were scheduled to appear as well and no-showed was a bit disheartening as well:(

Went to Jones Beach show, it was amazing. Though RZA and Raekwon were supposed to show up, they also brought along Method Man, Ghostface and Prodigy from Mobb Deep. Nas and Damian were great, and they brought AZ to do his Life's a ***** verse, which knocked me on my ass. Common was great though I was disappointed we didn't get a full set from Talib, he just came on during Common's set. The Roots rocked it, the guitarist was fantastic, saw Tech N9ne which was crazy, La Coka Nostra was good, K'naan was great though he was the only artist we had time to see in the indy stage. Big Boi was not that impressive...and I could've done without the interlude when Nas left and D-Block came out...all in all however, one of the finest shows of my life.
Other high points: Supernatural doing an unbelievable freestyle about random objects the audience handed him, KRS-One bullshitting with the crowd, Pete Rock scratching on Tribe Called Quest and Biggie classics.

I like the fact that Supernat mixed it up a little bit, doing the freestyle with items from the crowd... and nearly walks off with the guy's blunt:lol: In Denver he did 3 words that the audience shouted out, I think they were Obama, Cannabis and J Dilla.

No thanks. If I wanted to spend too much money to hang out with too many white kids I'd go to a Coldplay show:lol:

Tickets for DEN were $60, for an 11 hour concert, I didn't think that was half bad...
