If I understand Mao´s theory of the three worlds correctly, the first world were the dominant global "superpowers" at the time, the USA and USSR. The second was it´s advanced satilite states, or western and eastern europe, canada etc. And the third world were the underdeveloped countries exploited by the superpowers.
My question is how maoists have developed this theory according to today´s condition, with the USSR out of the picture etc.
My second question is how they view today´s China in terms of it´s place within the global economy. Is China still a third world country or an "emerging superpower" like some bourgeois intellectuals claim. China is like we know one of the biggest resorces of cheap labour power for western corporations, but it´s engagement in africa is somewhat imperialistic, as they support the Sudanese dictatorship due to their oil interests and Chinese capitalists are using african countries for cheap labour.
