Recently I took my first visit to CrimethInc, which is often criticised on this site, but have to say I was very impressed with a number of manuals and books on their site and their reasonable pricing (including reasonable postage).
According to the site one of the books covers tactics from banner drops to wheat pasting, which are something I would like to apply in organising locally with other young activists.
Has anyone else here got books from them before, and if so, what did you think of the books? Were they shite, useful, or irrelevant?

I've got the book you are talking about. Recipes for disaster, an anarchist cookbook, there;s another member on here who hooked me up with the PDF and would probably do the same for you. Of course i am sure Crimethinc would appreciate the support if you felt like purchasing the hardcover from them, but if you don't want to let me know and I can try to figure out the best way to send you the PDF.

Yep that's the one. I'm also interested in "Expect Resistance". If you want you can email me the PDF (PM me and I'll send you my address) so I can have a look at it, and decide if I want a hard copy.
The two books work out at $30.00 (around €22), including shipping to Ireland, so its a real bargain. I can tell you now that you wouldn't get one book for €22 over here with the way the cost of living is!

There are download links for Recipes for Disaster here (http://www.revleft.com/vb/recipes-disaster-anarchist-t65531/index.html).
Expect Resistance can be downloaded here (https://thepiratebay.org/torrent/4210853/Expect.Resistance.Crimethinc.2007.Anarchism).
You can also download Evasion here (http://www.rorta.net/textfiles/evasion.pdf) (or a smaller version without the cover scans here (http://www.rorta.net/textfiles/evasion.no.pics.pdf)).
Their Guerilla Film Series DVDs are available for free here (https://thepiratebay.org/torrent/4489706/CrimethInc-Guerilla.Film.Series.2xDVDR.2006-NTSC).
Days of War, Nights of Love is also available for download here (http://www.daysofwarnightsoflove.com/content/downol_pdf.zip), as well as an audiobook version (http://www.daysofwarnightsoflove.com/content/downol_mp3.zip).
Their zines are also available for download on one of their sites here (http://www.crimethinc.com/tools/downloads/zines.html), as are some of the back issues of Rolling Thunder (http://www.crimethinc.com/rt/).
Now we just need someone to liberate Off the Map and the latter issues of Rolling Thunder.

And do feel free to stop sounding like a fucking advert.

Sorry, I got a bit carried away but I couldn't believe that I hadn't discovered CrimethInc before now.
I ordered Expect Resistence and Recipes For Disaster despite them being available in PDF all over the internet. There's nothing like a print copy.
