Does anyone here likes Tinariwen?
If you do what do you think about their new album Imidiwan?
I think that it's good, nice music but their worst stuff. Amassakoul is still #1 for me.

i saw them at WOMAD in 2007 and i would love to go to the festival in the desert where they often play- really like them

Same; I'd actually completely forgotten about them though... Remembering back they put on a pretty good performance.

Is there a big difference between their new stuff and their stuff from 07?

This new album, Imidiwan is in Aman Iman style... I like it a lot, but you know Amassakoul is the best.
