Who here has read it . . . I'm almost certain someone has. If so, what'd you think?

I've read "Lies My Teacher Told Me" by, James Lowen. It is a really good book and I highly reccomend it. He basically disproves what one learned in highschool, as he says it is mostly lies and propaganda in favor of the US. If you end up liking that book you should read "A People's History of the United States 1492-present" by, Howard Zinn. He is a wiser James Lowen. THey are both very witty leftists. I highly reccomend either book.

I read that too. I also met Howard Zinn, he's a really cool guy. Lies My Teacher Told Me was a real eye-opener for me.

I own it, read a little bit of it, but I think I got bored. Most of it I already learned somewhere else.

I've read some chapters of it, some of the others didn't interest me.
But yeah, it's a good book in general. Howard Zinn's People's History is great as well.

I read it, loved it, and recommend it to everyone. A good read and left me wanting to know more. Good to get your mind questioning what you think you know.
