Kkklinton, U$ imperialists go after Zimbabwe

http://monkeysmashesheaven.files.wordpress.com/2009/08/hillary-kkklinton.jpg?w=426&h=260

This week, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton stated that the US and South Africa should work together to pressure the government of Zimbabwe led by President Robert Mugabe. Clinton did not hide the intentions of the US toward the Mugabe regime, I do intend to speak not only with President Zuma but other members of his government about what more South Africa believes can be done to strengthen the reform movement inside Zimbabwe, alleviate the suffering of the people of Zimbabwe and try to use its influence to mitigate against the negative effects of the continuing presidency of President Mugabe.

The statement was part of a policy turn by the Obama administration that seeks to use South Africa as a partner for enforcing US order in the region. This is a role that South African President Jacob Zuma is very willing to play. Clinton hailed the new spirit of cooperation between Uncle Sam and his lackeys, We have been tasked by our respective presidents, the (South African) foreign minister and I, to put meat on the bone, to get to work, to make sure the expectations of President Zuma and President Obama are met. South Africa also pledged to strong-arm Zimbabwe in order to force change. In addition, the US and South Africa stated that they were in substantive discussions over the futures of Somalia and Sudan. The US has been using Ethiopia as its agent in an ongoing war against Somalia.

In typical imperialist newspeak, Clinton said of the relationship with South Africa, We have the same goals for a peaceful, progressive, prosperous continent. However, peace and prosperity do not mean the same thing to the colonizer as it does to the colonized. Up until 1980, the British controlled Zimbabwe as Rhodesia. Rhodesia was an apartheid state ruled by European settlers. Under British rule, white supremacy was the norm. The imperialists accuse Mugabe of destroying Zimbabwes economy after his government redistributed land held by the colonialists to the poor, indigenous Africans. Mugabe accused the West of imposing sanctions as revenge for the seizing of white-owned commercial farms and allowing Africans to settle on the lands. As well, the US resents Zimbabwes belated opposition to IMF diktat domestically and its role in challenging the US proxy armies of Rwanda and Uganda in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The West seeks to divide us and disturb our peace. If they do not want to deal with us why should we continue to want their help, Mugabe said.

Since independence and the end of apartheid, the imperialists have sought to regain more power in Zimbabwe. The imperialists have recently forced a unity government on Zimbabwe. Mugabe has been forced into a power sharing arrangement with the more pro-Western opposition. Now the West moves closer to the goal of overthrowing Mugabe, possibly in a velvet revolution scenario. As part of this aim, the US intends to continue its sanctions against Zimbabwe which are intended to blackmail Mugabes government to reform and create discontent among the masses. Through their sanctions, the imperialists seek to make Zimbabwe already a poor country with a 2001 per capita household consumption of $384 (USD) even poorer, by enabling U$ investors to buy up the countrys land and valuable mineral resources at bargain basement prices.

Even as the imperialists inflict poverty on Zimbabwe through their sanctions and power plays, Clinton managed to placed the blame squarely on Africans for the the problems of Africa. Echoing President Barack Obamas Africa speech, she blamed tribalism and corruption for the problems of Africa, ignoring the centuries of imperialist violence that had been inflicted and continues to be inflicted upon the continent and the fact that corruption is endemic to all comprador states. The imperialists engage in typical blame the victim rhetoric. However, Mugabe, who is not exactly a friend of the proletariat, has correctly stated, These Anglo-Saxon nations are giving us problems. We tell them today, Leave us alone, we dont need your interference because we can do it alone. He continued, Zimbabwe need not be tied to any one corner of the world, least of all, to a corner of former imperialist and racist colonizers. We are not part of western Europe and the United States.

I'll read the article but honestly this sort of childish behavior is absolutely good for nothing. You can't call anyone KKKlinton when they are willingly working for a black man, and comparisons to Hitler are cheap and generally wildly inaccurate.

I dislike capitalism as much as anyone on this site but at least try to make your criticisms intelligent.
