I found Jon Lee Anderson's book Che Guevara: A Revolutionary Life very good but it's quite expensive.

Well if it's a good book then it's probably worth the money. Thanks for the tip.

I read J. Lavertsky's 'Ernesto Che Guevara', it was quite interesting and the style was great but actually I think that it's full of Sovietic propaganda...

'Companero' by Castanelda (probably both spelt wrong) was very informative but dull in places, but I'd recommend it.

Look for "The Complete Bolivian Diaries of Che Guevara and Other Captured Documents", published in August 2000 by Cooper Square Publishers.

(Edited by Daniel James and authored by Ernesto Guevara).

It details Che's exploits in attempting to create the basis for revolution in Bolivia, and documents his final days. Moving, and very informative.

you should read all of Che's writings, Motorcycle Diaries, African Diaries, Guerilla Warfare, and assorted essays. But I've read almost every biography on Che and the one I liked the most was Guevara: Also Known As Che by Paco Ignacio Taibo

I also like the biography by Jon Lee Anderson. It's really informative. The Motorcycle Diaries is good, too, if you want to find out what Che was like when he was younger. He was a very good writer and the book is funny!
