Columbia, the Philippines, India, the Shining Path in Peru have reemerged, urban guerrilllas in Greece, Mexico (EZLN and Popular Revolutionary Army), Bangladesh, Iran and Turkey.
Guerillia movements are reactionary.

Columbia, the Philippines, India, the Shining Path in Peru have reemerged, urban guerrilllas in Greece, Mexico (EZLN and Popular Revolutionary Army), Bangladesh, Iran and Turkey.
Also the movement in Nepal is far from over, and Bhutan has seen some minor violence with maoists. PKK is also active in Iraq as well as Iran and Turkey

some trotskyists in wikipedia keep claiming that trotskyists are leading armed movements in Mexico and the Philippines. to what extent is this true?

Well in the past they were fierce Stalinists. Now not so much. Their sympathizers in the UK are still very... pro state capitalist :rolleyes:
There are two groups in Mexico that I know of Red Cat, who are the EZLN or the Zapatistas and the Popular Revolutionary Army (EPR).
As for the Philippines the NPA are still on the go.
