I was personally disgusted by this. A bunch of right wing trolls forward their standard disgusting nonsense and is welcomed with open arms? WTF

Under the history section, it cites a single source for the "genocide in China" - Mao: The Unknown Story.

Really now, how can anyone take this seriously?

Wikipedia is a major media source that anyone can influence. It was founded by Ayn Randists and is very schewed. However many theoretical articles are relatively accurate since Randists dont understand enough to mess them up and anyway Marxist theory articles are suppose to just represent ideas.

While I think we should move to make a leftist wikipedia, I think its more important to influence wikipedia, since that is how many people will first learn about Marxism. The Zionists organized a disiplined cadre to police all Israeli related articles from their viewpoint and to elect each other into admin positions. I think we can learn from that.

This is one of the few chances radicals have to influence a major media source.

I'm extremely pro-Wikipedia, I think it's a great project. There's a lot of problems with it, yeah, and you can't let it monopolize your media. But people use it because for the most part it works pretty well. And because people use it, we need to use it. If you want it to be better, you need to work on it, you can't just scoff at it.
