Written by a socialist politician in the early 20th century and meant to be really anti-capitalist. If anybody can provide me with info would be greatly appreciated.

I've read the Jungle... I would highly recomend it..

The Jungle discribes what life was like for a Lithuanian family that moved into the meat packing section of Chicago. Upton Sinclair, a member of the Socialist Party USA briliantly points to many levels of coruption and worker opression that caused a wirlwind of outrage and a nationwide investigation into the meat packing industry.
