Hey. I'm an Oklahoman leftist. I'm still learning about the specifics of various leftist ideologies, but I know that I fall somewhere along the lines of being an anarcho-communist. I was raised in a statist liberal household (parents are active in the democratic party) but they are stuck in a Cold War era mentality, generally associating communism with Stalinism and anarchy with chaos. I originally found myself on a forum more or less populated by anarchists, StealThisWiki, after having read about the Youth International Party and being fascinated. STW, however, proved to be more about the punk scene and general, nonpolitical discussion than I had wanted. I found a link to RevLeft there and, after reading some of the posts here, I decided to register.
