Disobedience, in the eyes of any one who has read history, is man's original virtue. It is through disobedience that progress has been made, through disobedience and through rebellion.

...we all remember Galilleo, Bruno & co.
Feyerabendt said something similar to that (but of.c. - he wasn't an artist, but just a poor philosopher, so he needed 200 & some pages to say that. )
Th.Khun was trying to conceptualize that, too. (quantity of pages I can't remember, but he needed a few boks and articles, poor little thing)

Just recently got a hold of the Wilde book "The soul of man under socialism & selected critical prose." Should be an interesting if not highly entertaining read.

Anyone else?

I founds essay too individualistic. When oppression dies
I think new forms of solidarity will emerge.
