Magnificent.
A complete, excellent evaluation of capitalism, going into examining many different aspects from media to politics to economy to foreign policy and more. Great book for new found marxists, as well as a wake-up call for flagwavers alike. I am still not done with the book, only about 2/3 of the way through. I disagree with Parenti on a couple small issues/comments, however, overall I love his opinion and the way he organizes great points in a way that brings vivid detail that goes to the core, while still keeping the book an easy read. Love it!
