It seems like a fair amount of Anarchists look down on the punk scene and those who participate in it. I don't really understand this prejudice against punks, is it just because of the stereotype of punks who are anarchists as "crimethinc kiddies"?

No, it's because your music sucks, and you take yourselves seriously (e.g. Punks not dead! ...who cares?). You also make anarchists look stupid. Take for example, the Exploited.
"Say to me that punk is dead
I wish to go murder them
Don’t like the music, don’t like the words
You can all piss off to your ???
[Chorus:]
Punk’s not dead I know
Punk’s not dead I know
Punk’s not dead I know
Punk’s not dead, I know it’s not
We’re old punks and we don’t care
We’re boot boys who dye our hair
Leather jackets, jeans and boots
Run about every night
[Chorus x2]
??? any law
Have no fear till the day I die
Swearing at yooz who walk around
Don’t like it, I’ll hit you to the ground
[Chorus x2]
Yeah!"

Although I don't mind some punk ( I used to be quite fond of it).

Yeah but punk really doesnt have much to do with radical politics, its just a bunch of kids getting together and having a good time at shows and listening to music they like. I don't take myself very serious at all, and I don't even look like a stereotypical punk, I just rock jeans and a t shirt. And fuck the exploited.

You can say that about anything. Indie, pop, hip hop, clubbing - what isn't?
Punk, though, as a subculture is very different. It's a peculiar contradiction, where people 'don't give a fuck' and also want to 'fuck the system'; who are 'apathetic' whilist also being political. It's bullshit.
And the ideals of punks are hardly realised by punks themselves. Most of it's just talk.

Eh, the punk subculture I participate in is just about support the bands and going to shows and shit. Its not very political at all and little "Punks not dead" or "Up the punx" (what the fuck does that even mean?) bullshit. I just like to go to shows and have a good time with my friends. I don't see whats wrong with that.
Meh, I have a certain antipathy toward 'scenes' in general, but I don't necessarily have anything against punks in particular. It is, of course, a shame that the punk scene contributed to the association of anarchist ideology with "teenage angst", but it is what it is.

I just realized I messed that up. Either way...
Every punk I've met has been a dick. Some of the Nazi skins I've seen around have been nicer guys.

broadly speaking, punks fit into either of these two categories.
1. people who figure saying "i'm a punk" is a more favorable way of saying "loser alcoholic drug addict" whose life ambition is collecting every single shitty record by anyone they've ever heard in a name-drop by their equally moronic friends.
2. hippies who think the "punk lifestyle" (whatever that is) is the perfect venue through which they express their pseudo-activism and freeganism. usually college dropouts or philosophy majors. employed as bartenders, pizza delivery boys or bike messengers.

oh and this is a condensed analysis of my last ten years of being a rock-n-roll junkie and a few slightly biased romantic/sexual experiences with punk guys.

I've met some really intelligent anarchist punks. A lot of them however just think anarchism is riding a bicycle, listening to crust, and eating shit vegan food.
I was really big into the punk scene for a long time, but I've moved on to other things.

I am a punk in the sense that I like punk music and midly dress like a punk (I dont go overboard with colored mohawks and patches though) meaning I wear black leather jackets and boots and a few buttons.

Basically, we won't be able to demolish capitalism and replace it with worker's councils until everyone listens to Discharge and Rudimentary Peni. True fact.
