Hey, I read the forum rules, and i suppose i'm breaking them slightly by not being a leftist and posting here, but i just thought you leftists and "us" (by us i mean me, i don't know anyone else with my political ideology) can come to some kind of agreement somewhere. surely, in any debate, there can be some common ground. what do you think? I'm pro small business, pro life, pro gun, pro "republic" (constitution), pro gay marriage, anti abortion, anti big business, anti taxes, seriously anti anything that kills individual freedom. anything here that we DO agree on?

Probably the only things the majority of us will agree upon is the pro gun, pro gay marriage, anti big business, anti taxes (and that's only upon reaching communism when they would no longer be necessary, or something like that), and anti individual freedom parts (though likely not in the same way as you). Everything else is reactionary, and thus makes you worthy of restriction. Sorry.

lol no. just me and my buddy. we're starting up a libertarian forum, and we wanted some ideas. ya'lls forum, while completely opposed to what we believe, is a good one. and we were curious. we WANT a diolouge with you. can't do anything constructive shouting or shooting at each other (unless we intend to kill lol). I'm a veteran, i should know.

You go against your own words.
"anti anything that kills individual freedom" and then you come saying "pro life, anti abortion":rolleyes:
What about the freedom of women to that? What about the freedom of their choice? What about their right to live? What about their individual freedom to live their life as they want?
So no you arent "anti anything that kills individual freedom", you have ideas against individual freedom, and so you are going to be restricted.

I completely agree. We should engage in civil debate, I will gladly join your forum, pm a link if you wish. I am after all a libertarian :)

Yeah sorry, you will probably be banned. Even social democrats hafta go to OI. We are trying to have a place where we can discuss radical politics and strategy without having to explain and reexplain the basic ideas of our worldview with each and every non radical. If the forum was totally open, there'd just be everyone from NAZIs to liberals trying to flame every discussion.
It's ok, you can still debate and discuss politics in the OI sections.:)

lol well, i can see your point, and to a point i agree with you. on the other hand, i also think that when a woman choses to abort a baby, its murder, same as if you came to my house and shot me. so, shrugs.. i dont reallly view it as restricting her freedom, but ensuring the child's freedom of life. Definition of what is "life" i suppose
