so, i'm moving froom my expensive student room to an what looked like an long term squat. 1 week after me giving up the rent, the squat gets serious evection threads.
my old room where i still had to move out of is already rented out to a new person from the 1st of august.
shit, what now?
if i want to rent again i need a better pay and to keep my job, for my job (and the pay rise) i need an permit by the cops because i'm an bouncer.
guess what?
just got an leter from the cops that they plan to not give me my permit (wich will result in no payrise and losing at least half of my hours) based on my activism.
so no i'm looking at becoming both homeless and almost jobless in the near future....
oh, and i also just found out i'm going to get prosecuted for some serious accusation.
or like the great prophet samuel l. jackson said:

Holy shit! This is political activism, right? How on earth could they have found out about this sort of thing (if i have guessed correct)? I didnt even think that they where allowed to do this even if they knew to be honest.

squatting is a legal russian roulette.
To each his own, bur personally i think paying rent is worth the peaceful nights sleep in knowing this cant happen.
Hope you find something else soon, best of luck.

i need police clearing, bouncers and private security fall under the so called "wet op de weerkorpsen" an old/pre-war anti-nsb (dutch colaberating national-socialist party) wich outlaws private militia's and political armed/uniformed wings, so they can look at both my conviction record and my arrest over quite an prolonged time.
they now seem intent on me failing my police clearance for an general anti-lawfull atitude based on some old arrest when a bunch of nazi's falsly acusmed me.
quite synical that i as an anti-fascist get problems based on an old anti-fascist law.

How are your work mates responding to this, or even boss, couldnt they give you a reference if you are to make an appeal? Thing is, if this is your livelyhood, they have to take this into consideration.
I guess you are spot on in your title, shit does indeed travel in packs. All the best of luck. I always though that the Nederlands was one of the better governments in Europe.

^yup, we always been hypocrites, preaching fairness, solidarity, tolerance and democratity but our actual track record always been shite; from the masters of slave trade and colonialism to the most deported jews during the war (not in persentage but even in absolute numbers).
but since the rise (and murder) of Pim Fortuijn (the populist rightwing) and after that geert wilders (the fascist/populist rightwing) we even lost that thin layer of feneer and the dutch goverment turned allout racist, rightwing reactionary.

My parent lived in Rotterdam for about a year or two, just before i was born. Though they said it wasnt perfect (street they lived on was a dump) but they said it was alot better place to live than the UK and alot more ethnically diverse (this was about 1982-83 so things must have changed).
They always mentioned that the government was alot similar to that of Norways (where my mums from), and the people where very easy-going and friendly. Hardly reactionary, and definitly not the sort of people who would embrace Pim Fortuijn, and Geert 'shudders' Wilders.
But that was along time ago.

it will be definitly some more months before the riot police is at the gates and there is even still a good chance we will win for now, but its sucks anyway.
it doesn't seem the building will be torn down anytime soon (there is talk of 2015 at the earlyist) and we already had en verbal agreement with the owner to stay there until the demolishment and were about to sign it offialy when someone in the board of directors of the owner aperently had an chip on his shoulder against squaters and called of the whole deal.

there always have been an strong reactionary undercurrent but it stayed just hidden for an long time. year of falling goverment policy brought i all to an explosion and now the political partys all roll over each others to try and win back those votes by being more reactionary or paternalistic than the other.
intergration is actualy going quite good, the big city's are realy ethnical diverse but since this also means imigrant youth are standing up and demand their rightfull place in society and we are only an small country the biggots are deeply afraid that the zomg muzlims! will take over.
quite intrestingly, gay flamboyant former marxist profesor pim fortuijns home base was the white working class centered in rotterdam while the himself as deeply anti-establsihment workingclass man presenting geert wilders his base is found in the suburban midle class

Fortuijns was an ex-marxist!? This always confuses me. If he had become an anarchist, or even on contrary, a capitalist, I could have understood to a degree. But to turn to the far-right is just too much of a turn.

he want as far-right as people made him look like and like his neo-con american counterparts (with wich he shared his extreme libertarianism) he had an background in marxism and troskyism

A lot of ex-Lefties turned to the far right after the fall of the soviet union (some after the Prague Spring).
Just look at Horst Mahler, Ex-RAF founder who turned NPD.
Rita 'Pacifist Socialist Party' Verdonk who turned hardcore neo-conservative tatcher-wannabe. Geert 'Ex-Socialist Party' Wilders (he was a SP member in his youth if i recall correctly). Pim 'ex-Marxist' Fortuyn.
Also, a lot of Americas neocons are ex-Trotskyites and a lot of currently 'revolutionary neofascists' are ex-Maoists.
Not to mention the reactionary tendencies in the Anti-Deutsche current.
It's a lot of desillusionment piled together with broken, extrapolated theory (like Mahler's national liberation theories being applied to Germany's so-called 'Interest Slavery').
Anyways, back to the topic. Sure hope the eviction won't be any time soon. As for the pigs, didn't hear them complaining about Hans van Baalen's former affilation with national socialist Joop Glimmerveen or Joseph Luns' NSB past and supposed support for a coup d'etat.
Once again a perfect example of http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/CrapsackWorld
Best of luck to you man.:thumbup1:

Sucks to hear about this dude, hope you'll be okay.
Let's set up a solidarity action! "RevLeft is not a real-life political organisation", my balls.
That's lame stuff, hopefully things will pan out ok for you in the end.
Also those are pretty comradely propositions from Holden and TCM.
