Check it out. (http://www.theflatearthsociety.org/forum/index.php)
maybe a lot of you have been there already, but I never actually went through and read some of the threads.
These people appear to be serious and actually believe that the Earth is flat, not spherical.
they refer to something called "The Conspiracy" which is the conspiracy to prevent the truth of the flat earth.
and if you post photos on there they'll just say the photos from space or orbit are fake.

Earth was boring when the world was flat, square and with less continents on it.
So we invented the ball! And everyone knows that balls are one of the greatest sources of entertainment ever invented! Why do you think people still say that they 'had a ball' when all they mean is that whatever they did last night was great fun, whether or not it involved the use or misuse of balls?
Because balls are fun, I say!
Of course, the word "ball" in the case of the saying is likely derived from vals, or "dance" in French, but never mind that, honey, just keep your eye on ball.
Anyway, as a result of our fascination with globes we conceive the earth exactly as a beautiful blue, white, green and golden orb, floating through seemingly empty space, illuminated by faint and distant stars, compelled by forces we are only now beginning to understand, to move, inexorably along a distant and lonely orbit (if you forget that the moon, like a kid brother, is always there to eclipse his sibling). Oh, my head wants to explode!
Now here come the Flat Earthers, ready to pervert my earthly love of balls with a "theory" that flattens my beautiful globe into a pancake!
Have you ever dribbled a pancake? Hell, have you ever dribbled a piece of fried pancake batter in the shape of a basketball?
Um...I haven't but I can imagine what my mom would have said had I tried such a stupid Flat earth stunt in her kitchen!
There's only one good thing I can say about the Flat Earthers and their "theory":
The image of the earth provided by the flat-heads looks like a Frisbee or a plate of rice and beans with a great big pork chop in the middle.
I like that.

Wait..
What if the Earth is flat, but people are just walking on both sides of it?

That the Earth is flat...
And that's a theory?
I have my doubts.

How do people even think that the Earth is flat anymore?

All their arguments are jokes for a person with even the most basic understanding of Newtons laws.

Do you really need any understanding? What about all those photographs?

Well investigate for yourself then. Take a boat and do some sailing.

Do you really need any understanding? What about all those photographs? :confused:Either forged or distorted due to some magnetic field or something, last I recall.

If the Earth was flat orbit and rotation would not make any sense since there are seasons and everywhere would be the same day/night.
