Authority is corruptive, so yeah we are against all authority. We wish no change of authoritys, we wish change that will help the people/
You ask why "property is theft"?Its simple, you are owing something that someone else maybe dont have, your owing something that someone else builded for you, you are owning something better than others. So this creates a difference within people, and not a fair treatment.
So you dont own anything, though this shouldnt misunderstood as usually is that anyone can run in your house, jump in your bathroom etc etc.You may not really own it, but since you live in it, is your personal space no one can intervene in it.
Of course there are more "complex", more indepth answers etc, but this should make you understand.

Well, it depends on what constitutes "authority". An anarchist would have no problem with, for example, an adult grabbing a child's hand to prevent him/her from unintentionally running in front of a passing bus. If this constitutes "authority", then yes, there is legitimate and illegitimate authority. If not, then no; all authority is illegitimate.
"Property is theft" refers to the tendency of Lockean private property rights to lead to a situation in which someone other than the person working a piece of capital claims ownership of that capital and, as a result, the product of the working person's labor. Anarchists see this situation as analogous to theft, and would like to remedy it by replacing private property with either possession (a form of property right in which occupancy and use determines ownership) or common property, to be distributed "from each according to his/her ability, to each according to his/her needs."
Hope this helps!

Anarchism is a great concept. But nowadays it is slowly dagrading as an ideology and more and more serves as an entry phase for very young anti-capitalists.
Idea gets deformed and exploited in the similar manner as Ernesto Guevara's t-shirt logo.
Kids who spray "A" signs on walls at night are not very different then those spraying a "swastika" - uneducated about a theory of neither, running solely on their impulses and their aid in mutual struggle is none. Still many label themselves as anarchists, and - unfortunatelly - many will comment that they indeed are.
Some, but only a smaller proportion, will eventually evolve a step further and then serve as true "power ups" in the movement. Others will fade away into the capitalist oblivion or worse - take upon another radical stance, from the far different end of political spectrum.
But RevLeft is luckily still a place that accomodates a few true anarchists who know a great deal about it.
Regarding your question - As Fuserg9 already said, personal property is a bad thing cause it sparks 99% of crime today.
You have it - I don't - I want it - can't afford - I steal it.
Abolition of private property and of course - money, would also mean the abolition of many criminal activities.
Sure, there are other criminal conducts, you may state, but there is a lot of good theory how to eliminate that too.
p.s. I see your new, welcome ! :)
