Hey guys, let me tell you a bit about myself;
I was born in Colombia, lived there for almost 16 years. But then I had to move to Australia. First I thought it was going to be a better place to live since its a first world country. But now I think Colombia was much better. In Australia freedom doesn't exist the way I used to know it. Australians are blind to the real world. Now I dedicate everyday of my life to change this. I didn't care about the revolution at all. But when you start growing you see how some people have to suffer because of the greed of others.

I hope to be able to contribute a lot in this forum and meet some cool revolutionaries.

Hasta la victoria siempre!

I can only imagine how different Australia must be from Colombia! Welcome!

Hey BR, well both countries are very different. But I will focus on how people think. Back in Colombia, I went to a few protests, concerts and other stuff. I did this because of what I was thought at school.
When I came to Australia I had to finish high school with the Australian system. This system was very different and I didn't believe some of the stuff they tried to teach me. For example in class of current affairs they told us that the invasion to Irak was ok. And that the Australians sent troops because its a good cause.

Australians don't worry about their prime minister destroying the Australian economy. A few months ago the prime minister put Australia in a debt for 300billion dollars. What did the people do about this? Nothing. Most of them don't even know about this.

Hi and welcome to the forum.

In Australia freedom doesn't exist the way I used to know it. Australians are blind to the real world.

I'm born and bred in Australia and I think I know what you mean.:( Personally, I try not to be so much like that. But sometimes it's hard to reverse one's upbringing.:(

Hope it's not too bad here in Oz.;) What state are you in?
