Thought I'd come and say hello. Used to be a member here around 2002-03 back when it was called Che.Lives. Back in the real world I was a member of the New Communist Party in the UK around that time. My main burst of political activism was the anti-war marches/protests at the time. I think I re-registered once on here between then and now but didn't stick around. Intend to this time.

The arrogant sod in me would say I've forgotten more about Marxism than alot would know, this is ofcourse matched by the fact I dont remember a bloody thing about the CM or State and Revolution. All I know now is that we are fed a load of rubbish by the mass media 24/7 and that at the very minimum people the world over should be able to afford to buy a meal with one hour's wage.

If any of the older members here remember me say hi followed by 'OMG it's great that your back', 'Thankgod I haven't slept since you left' etc, etc.

No dont worry I forget sarcasm doesn't neccesarrily allways come across in written text, still I wont protest if anybody does feel the need to shed a tear of joy at my return. Anyway I'll probably spend most of my time here reading rather than posting, politically I've been in a coma for 5 years. Does Redstar still post here?

Oh ok, I had heard that a while ago but hoped he had made a full recovery. Sad to hear and I hope he eventually does get better. I seem to remember now thinking that I was somehow his intellectual equal, I wasn't. He showed more patience with me than I deserved, it would be great if he did post here again. Even if he would be above the whole shedding a tear for my return thing (that's the last time I mention that;))
