Banking systems

Can someone explain the type of banking systems a socialist, anarchist or communist society would use, if any at all?

To give the simple answer, banking systems wouldn't exist in a true Communist society. Without currency there would be no need, considering all goods produced would be distributed according to need.

Banking system in Anarchism/Communism is like saying to retain capitalism.There is not going to be one, as of course is not needed.
Why would we need a bank when there is no currency?

Ok, maybe I posed the question wrong. Wouldn't there need to be systems where society could keep track of the labor that an individual has done? I mean you can argue that everything could be free and people arbitrarily take what they think they need, but then what's to prevent non-laboring portions of the population form leaching off the laboring population.
