Moving back to FL in a week!

Well, it's not exactly a cool enough state to warrant that exclamation mark, but it's still exciting for me because of the people I know there.


Also, this is the culmination of a month or two of serious scrambling to get my life in order (and thus, inactivity on this board).

Once I get to Florida I plan to pour my energy into politics, discussion, essays, etc. Consequently, you'll be seeing me a lot more outside of chitchat and irc. That is, if other things don't overwhelm me.

This will be my first year pursuing higher education (I call it that because community college is still technically higher than high school lol), my first time on my own, my first time paying my own bills (including car insurance, and I have to find a cheap car asap), etc.

So, if all goes according to plan I should be able to involve myself here more. Or I may drop off the face of the Earth.

So wish me luck or some other such sentiments. Or ignore this thread and crush me emotionally.

I live (more like study in) a place a bit more south from Clearwater... so perhaps we won't be able to work together.

Clearwater seems ok, at least better than south florida. Florida still sucks though.

Clearwater is ok, St.Petersburg is complete bollocks. Especially the south side. they have more violent crimes there then new York city per year. I used to live in a poorer section of Atlanta and hardly ever saw violence. I go to St. pete once and people are shooting at each other at walmart. I think the heat finally got to the thugs (most people who live there are nice, but the gangs are crazy) in south St. Pete. Downtown is nice though. But then again, in the neighborhood I live in now, you can't go out at night without a knife or gun, or some sort of weapon to defend yourself with.
