amateur, proffessional or "in formation". :p
What do you think/know of Geoffrey Barraclough? was he an early post-modernist?
In an extract I am reading from the early 1960's about "contemporary history", where he claims that the "modern" world has been finally left behing and the transition to a "post-modern" word is complete. It's clear he isn't refering to any intelelctual tendency which we would call "post-modern" though.
I know he also wrote a critique of US imperialism: http://www.globalpolicy.org/component/content/article/155/25946.html
