The explosive swearing is just insane. Should be an interesting book, chapter 2 "FUCK OFF YOU FUCKING IDIOTS, I AM RIGHT!!!" :rolleyes:

Thats if the book is long enough for chapters, other wise it will be page 3 or 4.

The american media culture clearly is ... colourful. The likes of Beck and O'reilly surely could not happen in most of europe. On the other hand, I am not a fan of european mass media either so I could be just ignorant.

We don't get such extremes, I for one have not heard any.

If you want an interesting book on the mass media in the US, I recommend manufactoring consent by E.S. Herman and N. Chomsky. Quite a shocking read, glad the UK has the BBC.

It comes down to the worrying mix of entertainment and information. Such as his program where he takes serious issues and screams at people who do not like his view. This is entertainment for some people.
