Dsmtuner, Links to St Anger's tracks were available here: http://www.encycmet.com/news/2003-06-02b.shtml

But it seems like they've taken them off the various servers.

Regarding the album, I wasn't too impressed; there are a couple of decent songs though...

It definetly doesn't sound like Slipknow... It's probably the heaviest album they've ever made, and some that maybe haven't really listened to it thinks that it maybe sound like some other band, but it is really good, and it got that certain Metallica style over it... My favorite song on the album is St. Anger, and the first song; Frantic...

Anyway; have anyone ever heard TRUST Company? It's a type of nu-metal.... quite good...

Mostly everybody's mentioned bands that I really like and a couple of bands that i can't stand: "Creed" ?!WTF?!

For the most part, people have some really good taste here though. Has anybody ever heard of Thrice? The guitarist kicks ass, and my friends say they give a bad ass show. I don't like their new Cd though :(

As for the new Metalica album, I haven't heard the Cd but I think I'm gonna get it. St.Anger is such a good song. Lots of people say their old stuff is way better and all that crap, personally, their old cd's are junk. I traded that one Black cd ( i don't know what it's called) for Rage Against the Machine which was probably the smartest thing I've ever done. Boy did my cousin get gipped!:)

Yeah, Ive heard Thrice, but Im kind of tired of their song now, but I still like that song that was called See You In The Shallows or something... And yeah; their new album sucks....

Metallica are responsible for the little explotion in my stereo, but I still like their new cd.... Specially the song Frantic...

So what are you on FatFreeMilk???? it must be some good stuff that distorts reality big time! old songs are crap? St Anger is better? traded the black album for RATM????

Avril...is more of the same shitty bubble-gum pop most of us here seem to know and hate. Avril is simply in a new package for marketing value. Who is up for a little capitalism? (FUCK CAPITALISM!). I agree with Urban Rubble, Michael De Panama...no matter how arrogant your postings, your taste still sucks. What the fuck is wrong with Chevelle? Just go listen to your Justin Timberlake...Damn your taste sucks. I'll get around to one of those music favorites pages so you can judge my preferences too, okay?

LOL, Wheatus? Oh God, please don't remind me of that song. It shockingly related to me when it came out.

Anyhow, is anyone here into Black Metal? Let's talk about more obscure stuff, ppl. Im sick of radio "metal".

One, sorry buddy, but I'm not on anything that distorts my perception of reality. I could only tolerate listening to the "Black" album once. After that I got really annoyed. I really enjoy the RAtM Cd I got for it alot more, and I NEVER get tired of listening to it.

El Brujo, what city are you from? Tell your friend to hook me up with some tickets ;)

I've met the vocalist of Cradle of Filth, short as hell he is. Also, if you like metal, although I've heard them called hardcore, you should listen to God Forbid. Their vocalist is awesome. I don't listen to much metal anymore though.
