Fuck you prick. Bristol city are a great team who have been unlucky not to have been promoted to the Premier league the last two seasons.

Our fans are pretty good, sure they ain't Portsmouth but they're pretty lively at home matches.

Your a Bristol City fan aswell Killfacer. I really like them, I was supporting them in the playoffs last year when they lost to Hull.

And that was a good, if only a bit premature, pitch invasion when they beat Palace in the semi. Plymouth, Bristol City and QPR are my favourite Championship sides.

Yeah, well i was born in London so i support Arsenal the most. I've lived in Bristol a while and have had season tickets for them so obviously i like it when they do well.

Good stuff. The annoying thing about that season was they were in the second automatic place for so long but then dropped out into third towards the end of the season.

I didn't get to see any Dutch friendlies, nor catch a lot of Dutch football news, because I was on vacation in Scotland. Except that NAC apparently beat some Armenian club 8-0 on aggregate in the Europa League qualification, and that FC Twente drew Sporting Lisbon for the CL qual (so basically, Twente don't stand a chance).

Most of the other football news I read were the ever interesting transfer rumours of the Scottish Premier League, Falkirk getting eliminated by a club from fucking Liechtenstein, and every day there was a huge interview with Tony Mowbray about how excited he is about the CL... How awesome is that? Get relegated, then you can be the new Celtic manager! Reminds me of when Rijkaard did the unthinkable (getting Sparta relegated), and then he went on to win silverware with Barcelona.

Anyway, nice to see that Ajax did well.

Edit: just catching up now. Apparently Ajax conceded six goals against Atletico and Benfica afterwards, with one of the goals (a failed back pass) being referred to as "slapstick" by Martin Jol, who criticised his side's poor defence. So do something about it!

Just saw the Benfica goals. Killfacer, this should cheer you up:

A clever lob over the goalie, too bad it's the wrong one.
