I was just wondering, any of you reggae fans into the Ethiopians ? If you're not you should be, I consider myself quite the reggae "coniseur" (or however the fuck you spell that) but I just recently realized how good they were.

Anyone else ?

Yeah, they're pretty good. I only have three of their songs, but they are all nice indeed.
They couldn't be the best vocalists though.

Ya, they probably weren't the BEST but I love them, almost more than any other vocal group ever. Try to find "The Ethiopians, Reggae Hit The Town". It's mostly rare stuff, but really good. OR you could download these songs :

Condition Bad a Yard
Fire a Mus Mus Tail
What a Big Suprise (one of the best reggae songs ever)
Stravation
Israel Want to Be Free (another great song)

Do yourself a favor and check these out, I know someone with your tastes will love it.

Indeed they were one of Sir Coxone's finest, obvious choice but "The Whip" is my favourite of theirs also "Train to Skaville" & "Hong kong flu".

"Victoria o muerte"

Ya, you should try to check out that CD I listed, I've never heard most of the songs on it but they're some of their finest work.

Forget about that single CD, and go invest in the Ethiopians Anthology double disc on Trojan.
