Got a question about bob marley

How did he die? some people say lung cancer, and heart complications, and a stoner friend of mine said while playing soccer someone stepped on him with cleats and he died of gangrene, i dont exactly know how reliable he is but then again, he is his idol? any help would be great

While playing soccer his foot was injured, while exaimening the foot they found cancer.

They needed to amputate the foot, but rastas can't have parts of their bodies removed, so it spread all over his body and the greatestMusical Artist of all time perished

Actually, the thing about it coming from his foot is Jamaican folklore. I believe it was brain cancer. The reason it spread is because he wouldn't go through chemo until the very end because that would mean losing his locks.

No his biographers who aren't jamaicans confirm that he was injured in his foot.

Whether or not it was brain cancer I'm not sure of you may be right. However he did injure his fooot

i read a biography he injured his foot they found cancer. he refused to belive it and left it. then it spread through out his body he didn't get treatment untill it was to later. he had to got to germany to see a specialist and he died at the age of 36? in 1984? and he was buried with a wig on cause his dreads where cut off due to the treatment/

He also didn't want the foot to come off because it would have affected his stage performances, and his soccer game. I think this was one of the more twelve-tribe-oriented things, though. Once again, they wouldn't have needed to amputate his foot, that's not where the cancer was. He DID hurt his foot however, I think it was a broken toe or something.

Yea while playing football he stud his toe real bad and then they found he had cancer and a blood defect from his white dad, erm....it wasn't lucaemia but something similar and he die from a combination of the 2.

brain cancer is the reason for his death they say. theres actually a conspiracy theory about his death. from what this theory says it is quite rare to get brain cancer and so they believe that somehow the cancer was put into bob to take him out, like other times before. the world will never know.
