I suppose a little introduction is in order. I am very new here but am glad to say that from what I've read, this seems to be my kind of forum. Filled with like minded individuals who are opponents to Fascism and Capitalism
My actual name is Adam and I am 19 years old. I was president of the Humanitarian club in high school and scored a 94% in Global Politics as well as 89% in History. Scored an 84% average overall in school... Not to brag:blushing:

I am also a member of the NSG, or the New Socialist Group of Canada and write regular freelance articles for the group's Magazine, if anybody is interested I can send them a few samples, you need but ask.

You will no doubt see me posting on this forum in the future Comrades
Alone we are a threat, United we stand incorruptable

Without being too specific, I'm from Ontario, the Greater Toronto Area

Ah, shame. :( I'm in B.C. I really want to find comrades close to me.

Are there no groups in BC?
Usually there's a small group for every political ideology in each province. Socialism, Communism, Fascism (Not that you'd need that:lol:), etc etc
Its odd though, even just Google search... Surely you'll find someone or something related to what you're looking for
Check your libraries or Community centre... They usually have discussion groups and meetings set for specific days out of the month

Oh no, there is people, but none of them are in my area of B.C. I'm politically isolated in a Conservative town(62% voted Conservative last Federal election!). I'm so glad I'm moving soon for university.

University bound hm?
Which University? I have several friends currently going to the University of BC, One for Literature, and the other for Art

Right now I'm quite content with a Bartender's wage, University will come soon though :thumbup1:

Ah. Which universities are they going to? I doubt it'll be the one I'm going to.

The University of Canada West
They're staying at a place in Vancouver for the summer

Oh ok. Not the same place I'm going. However, I'm hoping to get down to Vancouver for some political work.

Ah, well good on you regardless
I can't afford University yet, as my parents were always the type to make me work for something instead of just handing it to me, Hated it 5 years ago... but now its probably one of the best things that they could have done to help me
I'm seeing too many people my age STILL living out of their parents wallets, being handed things simply because they ask. I think its disgusting, and cannot see how we plan to grow as a culture if our children and youth are slowly being turned into utter spoiled retards living the life of a damned successful capitalist. Did you know not too long ago, I amazed somebody by saying Mars was actually cold?
Its not right... And they got a smack upside the back of the head for believing that Mars was a global heated desert.
Nevermind the fact that there are kids that are EIGHT YEARS OLD that are learning internet lingo before they learn basic fractions
tl;dr instead of Numerators and Denominators... its sickening

Oh great, here we go... I tend to get into rants about how much society is failing nowadays... you'll see that with me from time to time on the forums

Haha, don't worry. Capitalist society does fail. Yea, with my university costs I'm on my own too. I have to do it entirely through student loans. Woo! Debt here I come!

Meh, Student loans are a fact of life
It happens, but what you get out of it is worth far more then the money you put into it
A well used brain... which is NOT something I can say for many famous people today
Paris Hilton anyone? Ugh...

Again, best of luck mate :)
