This question pertains to what your current goals include, not what you have achieved thus far. If you hold a bachelor's degree and have no desire to go further, please select "bachelor's."
I'm curious as to the demographics of RevLeft as related to education.
As determined:
21% of all American adults (25-65) had attended some post-secondary school.
16% of all American adults (25-65) hold a bachelor's degree.
9% of all American adults (25-65) hold a post-bachelor's degree. From this..
Less than 3% of all American adults (25-65) hold a professional degree.

List your degree, if at all possible. I'm a little over half way done with my undergraduate work. I'm planning on attaining a bachelor's in Social Studies. After a few years of teaching I plan on pursuing a Master's in Educational Administration, and after a few years maximizing my potential there, I plan to attain a Doctorate in Education. Please note that I certainly don't believe it's right to value someone based on their education. I actually think for a lot people attaining anything more than an associates are wasting their time.

I plan to get a masters in journalism in NYC if possible...if not then I guess I'll just be stuck with a BA. But that's my plan right now.

Your not out of high school yet fuserg? For some reason I always pictured you as like 30 or something.
As for me, I am going to college and hope to get a bachelor degree in English. After that I may attend more school, but I am no sure at this point.

I really don't know. You just always seemed older to me. Maybe it has to do with your mod status. :blushing:
Haha... I am older than you. :D
Advice for your last year of high school, don't do what I did and fuck off till he last week of each quarter. I almost failed. :(
But I am freakin' awesome so I owned that shit and got A's and B's (by doing a quarter's worth of work in a week, ha ha). :D:laugh:

I'm about a year away from attaining a BA in both Political Science and Sociology, after which I hope to transfer to another university for graduate work, perhaps in Political Science.
I'm thinking of seeking a career in academia at this point, but that may change yet.

Run for office, you dirty anarchist. ;)
Is the double major forcing you to stay at the college longer, or have you managed to pull it off within a reasonable time period? I'm curious because I'm thinking about adding History to Social Sciences to help with graduate recognition.

I'm going to go full time for my Masters and working to support myself on the side, then hopefully get a job teaching (History) and work on my Ph.D whilst doing so.

I may have to take an extra summer class at the end of the next Spring semester, but other than that, I'm on track towards graduating on my fourth year. And that's considering I switched my major from Computer Science to Political Science in the middle of my third semester! And there's also the fact I've dropped two math classes and a computer science class, and failed a political science class which I have yet to retake. Put it all together, and I'm left wondering how the fuck it is I'm graduating on time.
Oh, that's right, I had lots of AP credit, which allowed me to skip taking about 6 classes when all was said and done. Without it, I'd have had to take an extra two semesters. So that's pretty much how I managed to pull this off.

These are American terms. Does Associate translate to Technical / Vocational?

I homeschooled, graduated (Technically) at age 16. Hoping to get my GED though. Community College if I can afford it.
