Morning all,
Thought I'd give you a bit of a low down on me.

C.A here, currently living in Hull in Britain. Not too grand a place, I know of one other anarchisty type here, and we had the dubious honour of being the section of the country to vote the 'fash into power the other month.

I'm a bit of a wannabe to be honest. I spend a lot of time lambasting the state I live off due to being on disabilities. I chunter about things and do sweet f.a about them.

Try hard Vegan. Despite having to daily take med's that were tested on and contain critters.

Buddhist, in the sense of ignoring the centuries of crap thats accrued around the Buddhas original message of 'don't be a jerk' and 'don't do it just because someone said so'. Oh and the veneration of the wanker Lama.

My capitalistic sin is geekery, too many books, too many dvd's etc. s and l

Wannabe writer, a few peices of short work out there on websites, local magazines and zines.

I'm currently enjoying my new catch phrase of 'I bet you voted BNP didn'tcha?' Particulary used against general fuckwits and half arsed liberals.

It's the name of a ship from Iain M. Banks' Consider Phlebas, I believe.

Hello there,

Yes, can't say Hull would be my first choice destination for a holiday, but there's always somewhere worse, I suppose. ;)

Buddhism's great when you strip it down to the basics. In fact, it actually is the basics, so all of the frills and rubbish go against the very definition of Buddhism.

Anyway, welcome x

They, along with Ursula Le Guin's stuff are pretty much standard reading for any far left sci-fi geek.

Hooray for the Pantranshumananarchists!

I wonder, how good are you at writing blackmail letters? I intend to blackmail the U.S. by threatening to blow up Manhattan with a nuclear device. I need to squeeze out of them some 7 gazillion dollars. This is to fund my newes ultra-space nuclear super doomsday weapon of world destruction, MUHAHAHAHAAAAAA!!!!!
