either the people on this site don't have a clue, or they're using negative popularity to furthur their position

pearl jam, for instance, is considered a "pro-choice" band but their lyrics indicate ONLY their opposition to the choice abortion movement. pearl jam, acually, is considered by many to be one of the biggest anti-abortion bands in the world. tis site is clearly using negative popularity to futhur their position. they're hoping for people to check that list and think "heh, I like pearl jam EVEN MORE now that its supposed to be boycotted by the life group. I just gotta sing... I, hooo-ooorr, I'm still alive!"

Nah, i don't think that, they're just dumb.

For instance Aus Rotten, i know they're pro-choice.

Also, I emailed rock for life once and told them to put my favorite band anti-flag on there, they fucking kick ass and they write pro-choice songs (no apology on A new kind of army).

they just hear that those bands may have said something prochoice or something or indicated it so they put them there.

there's really two kind of pro lifers that have religious affiliation

the catholics and the protestants

this site is clearly run by the protestants, as it is lacking in the reason and logic that is notorious with the catholic life stance. I mean, the bands listed on the "life" side are all christian rock crap. a complete waste. catholics don't have anything to do with christian rock.

as far as using music as a political platform, the few songs that "rock for choice" that I have heard are ridiculous and idiotic. most of the bands listed as "choice" groups are probably simply anti-protestant or anti-money and so are black listed by the big money market american religion industry. these clowns think anything that isn't status quo is the devil.

The anti-flag one is good, it gets the point across pretty clearly, but you're probably right that most of those on bands are just on their because they're anti-religion.

Also, those songs about god and stuff, they're really lame, not just lyric wise but music wise, most of those bands just sick.

Anti-flag A new kind of army is a great album, I've always listened to anti-flag even though they aren't street punk or hardcore but just regular political punk.

Best songs on that are
That's youth,
free-nation
no apology,
tearing everyone down
Got the Numbers
no difference
right on

Also a great anti-flag song is on Go kart vs the corporate giant volume II or something, it's called apathy strikes out, you can get it off kazaa it's one of their best songs.
