http://www.muslimstudio.com/

This is the site of a cool rap band called Soldiers of Allah, and actually this link is primarily aimed at Umoja and suffianr and Che y Marijuana and Zombie and all the other bro's :)

I think you might all enjoy it though, it's not like anything else you'll have heard before.

You can download most of their songs on the site, I recommend "Jihad", it's basically the best one. It's gangster-rap with a strict Islamic Sharia message, very weird combo.

Here are some lyrics:

The poison is injected
The giant is asleep
He?s chain into sections
To keep him off his feet
The mission is forgotten
The bond is getting weak
Wake up oh Muslim Ummah
Before we face the heat

Telling me to calm down
A year has past
since the last song
Situation has worsen
It was kosovo and Kashmir
Now it?s chechnia and dagistan
So who is next in line
Governments who claim
They implementing Islam
Like who??!
Like Taliban, Iran and Sudan..
All 52
So called Muslim nations
Oppressing the masses
in the name of Islam
They are digging our graves
while we are a sleep
over a billion
But oh so weak
We need to rise up
And get back on our feet
We?ve been fooled too long
This what happens
When we let kafirs lead

Why are we losing?
Who are we amusing?
Sisters are leaving
because brothers are abusing
Twisting Islam?s teachings
mixing culture and pride
using Islam to justify
for the tears that she cries
When I look into her eyes
I see the pain deep inside
As she leaves and says good bye
Now tell me who?s to blame
Don't just sit there in shame
Lets look to Islam to cure the pain
to all my sisters in pain
These oppressors are insane
They?re heading straight
to the hell fires flame

The poison is injected
The giant is asleep
He?s chain into sections
To keep him off his feet
The mission is forgotten
The bond is getting weak
Wake up oh Muslim Ummah
Before we face the heat

Imitating the kafirs
Flirting with disaster
Even our sheiks and Imams
Are dressed up like priests and pastors
Khatibs wearing long robes
Historical clothes
More puppets than puppet show
Leaving us with no solution
after their speech
Dawah based on prestige
Watch as they leach off
the Muslim Community
What ever happened to
this Ummah?s unity
NOTHING!
Exactly
They?re laughing!
Because they are acting
They cut the tongues
Of those who speak the truth
Fearing that the message
Will be passed on to the youth
You say its hard to believe
Before you nod your head
THINK!
If our Scholars spoke the truth
Why would our enemies
Give them the platform to speak

The giant is in a slumber
Islam is complete
yet the Ummah looks up
to democracy for its needs
Defeated mentality
Left us in a gutter
The giant used to
Take care of the world
Now asks the kafirs to usher
Remember the battle of Bader
They doubted us from the start
Muslims had Islam
In their minds and their hearts
They know they fear us
Injecting poisons venom
so they tear us a part
This is just a reminder
Take it straight to the heart
Let us get back in the lead
Shake the giant to wake
Flourish and rejuvenate
Implement only Islam
to revive and renovate

The poison is injected
The giant is asleep
He?s chain into sections
To keep him off his feet
The mission is forgotten
The bond is getting weak
Wake up oh Muslim Ummah
Before we face the heat

Brothers killing brothers
While the kafirs getting richer
Muslim blood on my fingers
Tell me what?s wrong with this picture
These organizations
Making no difference
They?re making dollars no sense
In their lack of assistance
Muslims enlisted
in the enemy?s cavalry
Firing at our own people
Muslims to Muslim fatality
On the battle scene
Surrounded by our own casualties
Under siege
By these corrupted regimes
Blood to our knees
While the great giant sleeps

Whose law are you following?
Which side are you on?
Our brothers shed blood
For the cause of the kufar
They show us ?Three Kings?
When we saw them stealing
They play as heroes
When we know they are zeros
Playing with our minds
Trying to use us as a pawn
THIS IS OUR SITUATION
NOT JUST A SAD SONG
Let us rise the Ummah
And follow the Sunnah
to Bring Back Islam
Implement the Quran
Awake this sleeping giant
That?s stronger than a lion
to chain up the Shaitan
Victory is promised
So work for Islam
and keep your Deen strong
We?ve waited too long
From here to Mecca

ALL TOGETHER NOW!

Let us rise The Ummah!
Let us Rise The Ummah!
Let us Rise The Ummah!

The poison is injected
The giant is asleep
He?s chain into sections
To keep him off his feet
The mission is forgotten
The bond is getting weak
Wake up oh Muslim Ummah
Before we face the heat

Those guys seem a little confused.

"Did you brothers convert to Islam?
Of course we are all born Muslim. Many of us did convert to Islam."

Well, now that I think about it it could be interpreted as "I've always been a Muslim in spirit kind-of thing".

What does the "(swt)" mean after every time it says "Allah"?

swt is some respectful saying one says after they say Allah. I don't know the meaning though.

Thanks Dhul.... I got some Black Muslim songs for you to- Giants Vs. Giants by Askari X and Thinking about Home by the Delinquents. Good stuff.

SWT stands for "Subhanahu wa'ta'aala'" which translates to 'The most high and exalted'

When you name the Prophet Muhammad you put (saws) which stands for some arabic I can't remember, "salaam something wa'ta'aala something" I think, but it means "peace be uppon him".

Zombie: Well, you're Lebanese, that's close enough I guess. ;)
Are your family from the Christian minority?

Basically that's what he meant. But I think he's referring to some passage in the Quran, at least it wouldn't surprise me, that says all people are born Muslims but only a minority will adhere. It only rings the faintest bell though, so it could be a LSD induced fantasy with no basis in reality.

Yeah, it connects a lot of the European and Turkish imperialist history to the situation today in Palestine and other places.

Top class lyrics :)

Yeah, it reminded me of a rastafarian thing. A lot of religions have that type of belief really (John 3:16 and all that).

Yeah, born from a Maronite family, but in no way practicing or believing in christianity. I'm atheist. My parents hate me ;)
Last time i checked, 30% of Lebanon is now Christian (and declining), 70% of it is Muslim..

Total population ; roughly 3.5~4 million inhabitants.

Wait a second? What does Kafir mean in Arabic? Doesn't it mean "nigger" in Afrikaans?

Dhul....?

Dhul Fiqar

Haha, no I think that's "kaffer", but it sounds similar.

"Kafir" means "infidel" ;)

i could be wrong but i thought black muslim groups preach something like "the white man is the devil".any group that preaches that is totally racist and cannot be taken seriously.at all.

Umoja
20th August 2003, 06:51
No, they can't be taken seriously. I agree, doesn't mean I don't still listen to them.

Comrade Ceausescu

i just dont like to listen to people who preach hate.they preach 100% hate.

Umoja

I'd advise you listen to "Giants Vs. Giants" by Askari X or "The Devil Made me do it" by Paris. They both have a very strong underlying message. If you want to say "They preach only hate" that's only partially correct. Yes, some of the stuff many rappers is bullshit, but off well, it's like cotton with seeds in it.

Dhul Fiqar
20th August 2003, 18:03
I think there is like one black guy in SOA, they are I think Pakistanis.

But "all black muslims preach hate" is a bullshit generalization anyway, so it doesn't really matter.

BTW, Elijah Muhammed and those guys really don't represent Islam, they represent a civil rights movement that took things a bit far and managed to get religion involved in it. That "white men are the devil" thing is REALLY old and really out of context.

Comrade Ceausescu

how is that not true?i dont mean all blacks that are just a regular muslim.islam dosent preach hate.organazations like the nation of islam preach 100% hate and no tloerance.they are the black equivalint of david duke and his followers who believe in white supremecy and that blacks are only half human and all kinds of trash and hate.its the same stuff.i know a lot about this stuff guys.

i could be wrong but i thought black muslim groups preach something like "the white man is the devil".

This is a quote from Elijah Muhammed, a nutcase and founder of Nation of Islam. I am not saying they haven't done great things, Malcolm X for one was an enlightened man, but the thing is, "Nation of Islam" are a VERY small minority of black Muslims around the world. So you saying "black muslim groups preach..." and then quoting Farrakhan is like me saying "Communists say..." and then quote Stalin!

Thus going after all black muslims for being part of "one of those groups" on the basis that you don't like one of them, is... well, not something I recommend ;)

I have this old reggae tune called, "Fuckery (White Man)". The lyrics go like this:

White people must stop fucking up black people now,
White man is fuckery,
white man make guns, white man make wars, and they also make laws,
white man is fuckery,

whip them, shoot them, kick them....burn them, even beat them,

white man must be give back the black man their freedom, their gold, their land, and let the black man unite,

black man stop listening to the white man,
know yourself black man,
the white man is fuckery,

whip them, burn them,....beat them
whatcha man, remember, we don't want to see them around
power! to the black man!
know yourself black man,
and don't take any fucking shit from the white man
white man is fuckery

whip them, burn them,....beat them
get rid a the whole a them

white man is fuckery
white man make guns, white man make wars, and they also make laws,
know yourself black man,
and don't take any fucking shit from the white man
white man is fuckery

get rid a the whole a them
we no want to see them
remember

power to the black man!
white man is fuckery
black people beware of white people!
rise to the call and unite!
black man know yourself, white man is fuckery!

whip them, burn them,....beat them
get rid a the whole a them
whatcha man, we no wan' to see them!
