what in the name of fuck is "the weapon of sound above ground" besides a kickin rhyme?

Don't know the song, but "weapon of sound" is probably music and "above ground" probably refers to the fact that the band is (was) signed to a major label (thereby making them the opposite of 'underground')
Maybe the 'decade' means that the band had been in existence for ten years when the song was written?

Weapon of sound would most certainly be the music itself. RATM is fond of using that whole microphone as a grenage picture, which makes sense.
Above ground, that's tough. Does it really mean the opposite of underground? I don't think that fits well, but I can't think of anything better.
That is an extremely kick ass rhyme. I love rage... I mean loved.
