The 'pro-life' brigade are holding a major march through the streets of Dublin on this Saturday,4th of July.Obviously we on the sensible side of the spectrum can't let this nonsense go unnoticed.

A counter-rally will be held in O' Connell Street at 2PM in opposition to this march and in favour of a woman's right to choose.I encourage anyone available to travel to attend and get the message out there.

I'm not sure who's running this, but I do now the various leftist groups will all be participating, including the SWP,the Socialist Party and the WSM.

Why do the pro-lifers even need to march anyway? Ireland is like the pro-life hub of Europe.

Is the republic actually any closer to getting abortion legalised?

Surveys show over 50% of Irish people believe a woman should have the right to choose,so it's not necessarily the pro-life hub of Europe. It's probably being organised out of fear since the Civil Partnership bill got passed recently. They're probably under the impression that the legalisation of abortion is the next stone in the path on our way to hell...
