This is bloody hard! What to say. Ok, well if I found I was next to you at a barricade and we knew nothing about each other, except that we are on the same side ... [edited to add - clearly we had a lot of standing about doing nothing!]

I live in Glasgow. I've been an Anarchist since I first read a book I accidentally picked up in a library when I was about 15. Since then (almost 20 years!) I've been involved in various things. I lived in London for 10 years, until 2003. I was briefly a member of SWP in 2000, but after 9 months and attending the National Conference I decided it was too undemocratic and sectarian and I didn't like the with cynical tactics. I then got involved with the Anarchist movement and joined the Anarchist Federation almost 2 years ago.

I don't tend to like busy webfora as I find they can take a lot of energy that I'd be better placed elsewhere. But I'll see how it goes - will probably just pick threads here and there to get involved with and let you all know what is going on in Glasgow.

Cheers! :) Could any of you could help by posting some links for me? I just posted an article about a school occupation I'm involved with but couldn't post links to videos, more info etc as I'm newb. Hopefully I'll be able to PM or email them!

Damn, you saw through my cunning disguise! Hey ho Mr. You coming to summer camp? I notice you didn't offer any comradely assistance to my request above. :P

But no, def don't trust me. And NEVER follow me unless you want to end up either walking round in circles or in the middle of whatever trouble is to be had.

I think this is all a bit too much personal information. Remember that everyone can see this, even Nazis.

and also, shouldn't really double post, just edit your original post, but I second that a pro-communist punk band should be formed
