Yo:
Does anyone have a how to on making stickers?
Yeah any moron can glue something on or put a double-faced tape on something. But I mean like real stickers, the kind you can peel off on the go, you should know what I mean.

They sell sticker paper for computer printers and with simple label making software, stickers are really easy to make yourself.

I did what which doctor said for a while, because I am not sure how to make those nice looking vinyl stickers. But if you do want some like those, you can take an image into a printing shop and get them made.

There used to be a kids toy called Badgit or something, you could use it to make stickers and badges and some people said they got decent results out of it, I however did not.

The best way to make stickers is screen-printing, which is a bit more expensive to make yourself, but worth the effort. The advatage of screenprinting is that it used very resillient thick latex based paint that will barely bleach when exposed to sunlight alot and wil not smudge when it gets wet.
Just try to get good paint absorbing stickersheets from wholesale somewhere (or ebay, or steal them from your work like me :p).
Here is a tutorial how to make a screenprinting set out of simple household materials like a pantyhose and a paintingcanvas. It kinda works like stenciling;

The downside is that you can only do a sticker in a few colors and have to have diffent windows for different colors and not a full-color design (unless you have professional screen-printing equipment that can succesfully print CYMK and halftone dots). If you do want a full-color design, i suggest you find a cheap screenprinting press service that does retail service for small quantities, which is are reasonably priced

My friend had a badge-it, it sucked... the badges were awful, they just popped off the plastic backing... I tried to make a badge of a nun and it just fell off one day :'(
As someone said, you can get sticker paper for printers, but unless you have an awesome printer, they might still look a bit shit. You could screen print, which is expensive, but more cost effective the more you're doing... As awesome as the DIY culture is - unelss you've got good equipment - if you want better results, take them to a printer...
I'd take them to a printers... In Norwich, there's a guy who does them £20-£35 per 500, depending on size. If you're going for vinyl it's substantially more expensive..

Haha, same thing happened to me! Maybe it's only the kids on the advert that had awesome badges that worked everytime.
I'll have to invest in finding someone who can make stickers, I use a laptop and I'm not willing in paying money for a printer + printing ink + paper/sticker paper for this.
I guess it could be on the same topic, but can anyone suggest something good to use as a stencil, I can get the stencil image but I thought a peice of paper would be too flimsy to use spray paint on top, maybe if I could tape some cardboard to the back of it and then use that?
