I love that video

now I'm the biggest rock fan in the world, I'd much rather listen to some good ole' hip hop any day

but System grabs me

and their new video is incredible

it is a video from all the antiwar protests

They show ephagies of Bush, Blair, etc. during the marches that made fun of them

All the people all over the world protestng

then there is a cartoon part where Bush, Blair, Osama, and Saddam are all riding on missiles headed for earth.

At the end they just show a clip of an Iraqi boy riding a bike

it's an incredible video and song

i'm amazed at the response this band receives

i went to a club a few monthes back, and all the kids on the floor like loved the band. they knew all the words to all the songs they played and everything. when they played "toxicity" i was blown away. talk about crowd response.

i bought the cd and found it mildly disturbing in the lyrics and in the delivery. kinda like the first time I saw the video for "stigmata" by ministry. anyway, I liked it immediately and will probably pick up the new one too.

aerials is the shit

System of a Down are also really active in the struggle, I have seen serveral newspapers with an article on an action of theirs.

And a band who brings out an ambul titled " steal this album " has my respect already :)

Science fails to recognize the single most
Potent element of human existence
letting the reigns go to the unfolding
Is faith, faith, faith, faith.

Science has failed our world
Science has failed our Mother Earth.

this is a part from "science".. fromt heyr second album...
by this you should know that they have no communist/anarchist basis whatsoever...

i would say taht they are at max christian-socialists...
yet they do not seem to be very religious...

i would jsut say taht they are a litle "politicaly based" ...

but i have to admit they have pretty cool lyrics like "Deer Dance" and "PLUCK"... or even the new "Boom"...
the new video seems to be good...

i wouldnt call them anarchists... just not the average rock band thats all...

I'm walking through your streets
Where all your money's earning
Where all your buildings crying
And clueless neckties working
Revolving fake lawn houses
Housing all your fears
Desensitized by T.V.

Overbearing advertising
God of consumers
And all your crooked pictures looking good
Mirrors filtering information through the public eye
Designed for profit sharing
Your neighbor, what a guy

Boom, Boom, Boom, Boom,
Every time you drop a bomb
You kill the god your child has born
Boom, Boom, Boom,

Modern globalization
Coupled with condemnations
Unnecessary death
Matador corporations
Puppeting your frustrations with a blinded flag
Manufacturing consent is the name of the game
The bottom line is money nobody gives a fuck

4000 hungry children
Leave us per hour from starvation
While billions are spent on bombs
Creating death showers

Boom, Boom, Boom,
Every time you drop a bomb
You kill the god your child has born

Boom, Boom, Boom,
Every time you drop a bomb
You kill the god your child has born

Boom, Boom, Boom,
Every time you drop a bomb
You kill the god your child has born

Why must we kill our own child?

Boom, Boom, Boom,
Every time you drop a bomb
You kill the god your child has born

Boom, Boom, Boom,
Every time you drop a bomb
You kill the god your child has born

Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom
Every time you drop the bomb
