Victor Jara was a chilena interpreter that wrote many songs to Salvador Allende, the biggest socialist, he was very active in his campaigns and when finally in the 70 Allende took the presidency Jara composed many songs.
On september 14, 1973 he was savagelly killed in the National Stadium, all because of his music
I strongly suggest cheking out some of his songs if you are a spanish understanding person, here is a goos link http://www.patriagrande.net/chile/victor.j...jara/index.html (http://www.patriagrande.net/chile/victor.jara/index.html)
