Arthur de Gobineau(1816-1882)was ill and first racist in history.He started writing about inequality of the races in early 1850s.He is responsible for todays racists.

Then,first national socialistic party was Czech National Socialistic Party,nationalistic party in Czech Republic,estabilished in 1898.

Then,there was Corneliu Zelea Codreanu,romanian national socialist leader and nazi.He was killed on November 30 1938,two years before World War II.

In 1933 neonazi leader,white supermacist and antisemitic politician Adolf Hitler won German elections.He became chancellor of Germany in 1933,and its president in 1934,following the dead of Paul von Hindenburg.In 1936 there were Summer Olympics in Nazi Germany,and in 1936 Germany started with ist territorial expansionism with attacking Czech Republic.Then in 1938 Adolf Hitler became Man of the year in New York Times.On September 1 1939 Hitler agressively attacked Poland and won invasion,and then he declared war to the world.In 1941/1942 he declared war to Soviet Union.With following years he started loosing the war.

Then,in 1945 he commited suicide.So much about his patriotism.He didnt defended the nation,he killed himself.He was the selfish.

So it is good that he is dead.

Now,sick Stormfront idiots love Hitler and are talking how he was humanitarian,good man with honour.

He is just fascistic bastard.

De Gobineau wasn't the first racist in history, there was no Czech republic in 1898, Romanian Nazism doesn't deserve a part in a ten sentence "history of Nazism", Hitler lost elections but his party won most of the votes (but never above half), Times magazine, not New York Times, declared Hitler man of the year, and so on.

Besides, Hitler's suicide has nothing to do with his patriotism (or lack of); in fact, it was quite a Wagneresque thing to do.

I just highly doubt that he was the first racist considering the fact that there was slavery before he was even born.

Racism has it's roots long before Arthur de Gobineau. While some could trace it to the Classical Age, I prefer to start with the Midieval Age. Africcans, south of Christendom's enemy the Arabs, were viewed as alien and strange. Europe had contact with the Arabs/Islam and so could not form such views about them, especially considering Islam's multiple victories.
Racist thought was then utilised to explain the slave trade, and that stuck for a while.
Racism against Jews is also simple, as they were not ordinary to the Christians of Medieval Europe, and were forced into professions such as moneylending by laws. So common Christians in hard times had to give money to Jews who were forced to be moneylenders and businessmen. Not much room for sympathy in that environment.
Racism against Asians is also simple, they were far away and alien. In the 19th century European imperialism saw the easy conquest of many Asians and so they also came to be looked down upon.
In the 19th century racism was used to explain the European colonial Empires.
After WW1, Germany lost. A scapegoat for this loss was needed. Hitler blamed the Jews.
After WW2, most racism was just leftovers from earlier times or war experiences. This was perpetuated by the fact that those discriminated against had less opportunities, and were thus often poor. Thus, more went to crime as a way out.
This is a general history of European racism, which I presume was the type of racism you meant. There is other less documented racism, of course. But that grows more complex.
