lol.
I wanted to go with something that evoked communism, instead of nationalism. So I threw out the red white and blue (the flag of Yugoslavia would be nice for that though) and just made this:

I'm not good at drawing stuff on my computer, so I just copied some things, the star is from the flag of Vietnam, and the olive branches (representing internationalism) are from the flag of the UN.
I put it in the upper left hand corner because it makes sense in that spot given how the US flag looks. no stripes because they are outdated.
Instead of 50 stars, there is one. The star actually has 5 points, and 10 sides. 5 x 10 = 50.

I don't understand this enmity towards flags in general. Nation-states are not the only entities to have flags, and besides, they're just a symbol, an identifying mark. Burning a US flag is evocative because it's a symbolic rejection of all the associations that it has accrued in it's history.
But what's wrong with a completely original flag? It's a tabula rasa, a blank slate. It hasn't flown at the head of imperialist armies, and it hasn't been hoisted on occupied land. Even user-made flags incorporating already existing leftist iconography/symbology/vexillology should be acceptable for the most part.
Question for the vexillophobes: How would a seagoing vessel operating outside communist territory formally identify itself?

At the risk of provoking the anti-revisionists isnt the whole point of communism that there is no 'non-communist' territory?

Really? Since when? I've not seen any compelling reason to believe that the whole world will become communist at once, so it stands to reason that at some point parts of the world will be communist and others not.

Using a plain red flag for everything is for a-creative philistines , give the people some strong symbolism and aesthetics to feel contected to instead of an inanimate red piece of cloth . Its about as inspiring as the Lybian flag
give the people some strong symbolism and aesthetics to feel contected OK.

Wow, thanks. Usually fireworks burn my eyes out on the 4th of July, but your image does the job pretty well.
