This is the hero of the year. He is brilliant. In an extremely manly and mature way, he reacts towards the news about a slight change of his hobbies.

I got the feeling it may be fake, but why strip?
I've known kids who would melt down in a similarly spazzy way, even though this is quite over the top.
I'd say it's 80/20 in favor of fake. But I still hold out hope. Knowing people like that exist makes me feel good about myself. :p j/k
It makes me fear for the future of humanity.

It's funny, but I think it's fake. That other guy seemed too quick to both place the camera and get it back.

that game isn't even fun enough to get wound up about anymore, but i can actually see some people acting like that
one guy (who i knew irl) once threatened to beat me up over that game, a few years ago when we were about 14,
tbh its so boring now i am suprised people really get worked up over it, its just a game and not even that fun a one anymore

Did he try to stick the remote in his ass?
I lol'd. Don't know if it's a fake or not, but it sure was hilarious. I tried that game once and was disappointed, but seeing people obsessed over it flipping out is made of win. :thumbup1:
Edit: I should really be more sensitive... I feel bad now for laughing. :(

You should look at the comments - half of them are all about the remote in his arse.

Somehow I see the remote bit as an argument for this being genuine. I mean, in our homophobic culture, what adolescent boy would VOLUNTEER to star in a video where he attempts to stick a television remote in his bum? It's too random and personally damning to be rehearsed...
This kid has problems, his brother is as much a tool as he, and we should all feel bad for laughing. That said, this video is priceless in the humor department. I suppose if we didn't laugh, we'd cry...

I agree. Its too random to be fake. And I have seen some tantrums in my life.
And this definetly qualifies as one.

What a spoiled brat! I laughed really hard. I think it is real, to random. The ass thing, I agree with hugs, no non-openly gay/bi boy would do that, except if he thought no one was watching. And the brother was probably listening outside the door. Both immature brats, but still gave me a laugh.

To be honest if someone cancelled my WoW account my first reaction would be to get half naked and attempt to insert a T.V. controller into my arse too.

This is why I dont play MMOs (with the exception of guild wars which bassicly a dungeon crawler with the option to put real people into your party). I would seriously lose my social life if i touched one of those games.

the context is he has just got a group for a dungeon, which can take a long time, and his parents want him to get off. in wow the dungeons are done in groups, take 1-2 hours and you need 4 other real players with them.
he is being pathetic, shouting at them and crying over it

The second one seems real, for sure. The second kid is bargaining. It's really genuine. He probably has legitimate problems at home like any other kid.
The first one is good acting. I'm skeptical. I decided to watch it a few times, but I really can't tell for sure if it's fake or not so I'll assume it is. Psychological problems are really strange. As rare as it might be, sticking a remote up your ass when upset is probably something some people do.

World of Warcraft is split into 2 factions, Alliance and Horde. Alliance are humans, dwarves, draeni, gnomes and night elves, and the context of the game is there war against the Horde, which is orcs, trolls, blood elves, tauren and undead. Each faction has its own cities, towns, outposts, and they cannot communicate with each other. They fight, hence the 'world of warcraft', so when you do a player versus player (pvp) event of any kind it will nearly always be alliance versus horde (nearly always).
For alot of people being alliance or horde is important. On servers there is alot of in game rivalry because your always killing each other/competing and there is no dialogue obviously. I can see how if you were really into the game and a complete freak you might get iffy with your gf being on the other side but yeh that example is utterly pathetic.
I lol'd.
I don't care if it's fake or not. That remote in the ass moment was comedy gold.

Oh yeah, some real heroes of humanity in there. Nothing says "well adjusted and reasonable" like backseat parenting that revolves around violence. Kinda makes me wish the basement dwelling virgin stereotype was universally true, at least then they wouldn't be tempted to take out their inadequacies on actual children.
