- Where are you from, whats the leftist scene there like?

i'm in sydney, australia.
Australia is a friking politically ignorant lazy country to my tastes, (and my tastes aren't picky by the way) can you understand my anger?

15% OF AUSTRALIA ARE ETHNIC MINORITES, nationalism IS F***NG ripe, capitalism seems like a current "i dont care, accept it" trend run by racist nationalists, that accept discrimination.

The leftist scene is intensely quiet, there have been:

*Fascist politicians: p Hanson, j howard
*Aussie history is plagued with racism and genocide, white supremacy
*cronulla race riots 2001
*racist bashings and assaults, recently Indian students in melbourne
* and i mention again, aussies dont seem to care! blody hell.

- What branch of leftism do you subscribe to?

Internationalism, trotskyism
marxism, communism
anarchism, communo anarchism
Environmentalism

the whole lot of it

- How did you become a leftist?

Um, was born a stupid ignorant capitalist, racist, and grew out of it through learning, that's life. typical.

In addition, i'm trying to promote Anti-facsism in australia, even though we are politically slow we must create a fan base for the future and for the socialist movement.

and F**k i cannot stress the amount of racism that is about to get political real soon.

Hello and welcome

I am also new, and I completely understand your predicament because it is mine as well, (Also live in Australia, WA) and the amount of racist intolerance and nationalism is absolutely disgusting.

Hmm ive got no clue who you are, and i dont need to know for privacy reasons. I have a very small australian friends list, most are european, and some american, i'm always thinking of ways to increase that aussie friends list.

Thanx sibling, thats why i love all socialist gatherings, a group of great in-ignorant people from all walks of life.

Seems like it's pretty intense in Perth, I dont know the stats but i predict it's pretty horrible. Might explain why a SHARP group is present in myspace (check it out, the first friend on my myspace "top friends list").

In addition any suggestions to promote anti-fascism? in australia?
