Recently there has been alot of fear mongering concerning that North Korea has been sending suspicious ships and may launch a missile at Hawaii during somwhere at July according to these articles below:

Could this be western imperialist propaganda?

Yes.
It's nonsense and ironically not much different from what the idiots in the CPUSA and CPB are claiming.

I very much doubt NK will attack Hawaii. They have zero beef with them as far as im concerned. And looking at it from a absurdest perspective, it wouldnt even be good target practice.

The DPRK won't attack anyone, it's simply too dangerous, and they know it too.
This is capitalist propaganda, trying to feed the fear for the "Red Scare" of North Korea.

McCarthyism 2.0?
just wait, i bet in USA, the term 'Pinko' is going to have a bit of a revival with the "socialist' Obama and the crazy "communist" DPRK

Although I highly fear that these articles sound very suspicious since what if their actually translated to "The US is actually planning another inside job false flag operation on Hawaii somewhere around July to ignite a war against North Korea" or maybe I'm being a paranoid conspiracy theorist?

The U.S. Nuking Hawaii and then blaming it on the DPRK? i doubt anyone would be that insane.
Has off to anyone who could even pull that off... Dr. Evil maybe...
i think theyre just trying to generate general hate towards the DPRK. think of that 2 minutes hate thing in 1984. if that was what it was called.
Next theyre gonna say that Kim Jung Il eats babies. that might be a bit more plausable(compared to the first scenario that is)... but then again. who the fuck knows.

Hawaii was chosen as a location for this rumor because of Pearl Harbor. Notice that the source is Japanese media....nothing more needs to be said.

Perhaps it's just the US starting another Red Scare/Cold War by using North Korea as a scapegoat...

I'd like to think that a majority of Americans wouldn't accept a war with North Korea but I have my doubts. I saw a Gallup poll that said a majority (50-something percent) support a "military response" to North Korea's nuclear ambitions.
We have to face up to the fact that the anti-war movement is for intents and purposes, dead. The last one was inept in several ways. I talk to so many people online and I try to tell them, what a dumbshit war the war in Afghanistan is, and I lay it all out there, but they still want to believe that it's a "good war".
Maybe the US wants to have a "Gulf of Tonkin Incident"....which happened under a Democrat, by the way. People are deluding themselves to believe that Obama loves the idea of peace with other nations....

NK nuking Hawaii is extremely unlikely, and I think most people can see through this. Therefore, this news is also not part of some grand American conspiracy to invade NK. It's more of a general attempt to create Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt, as not many people will actually believe that it's going to happen.

haha like i said McCartyism 2.0
Since the earlier sattelite/missile test, i notices the bullshit machine go into full force. feels like Early 2003. at least there isnt talks of out right invading them or anything And THQ is coming out with that Homefront game. which i hope they kill. what a completely ridiculous plot.
as for the pearl Harbor comment. sounds like the PNAC(Project for a new american century, a neo-con thing) document.

I just read about Homefront. You weren't kidding about a ridiculous plot. For those of us that don't want to look it up, it can be boiled down to this:
"In the near future, the economy collapses! North Korea invades for some reason! Join the resistance and shoot things until they give up and go home!"

Every time one of these threads pops up on this forum, everyone lines up to brush away all alleged atrocities and acts of geopolitical aggression committed by the capitalist regime of North Korea a Western "fear-mongering" and "McCarthyism".
Let me ask you North Korea-sympathizers, what is the North Korean bourgeoisie planning to do with their missile program, exactly? Send childrens' letters to God into space? Are the workers who have to dig up the petroleum and uranium somehow immune from the obvious negative health effects they would otherwise suffer because they live in a "worker's republic"? Is the Earth any less scarred and raped by the development and testing of North Korean nukes than Israeli nukes?
It's pathetic how Leftists tend to root for the most pathetic imperialist powers under the pretense of "anti-imperialism".

Calling North Korea imperialist is a bit over-the-top, don't you think...
North Korea hasn't invaded or attacked other countries.
And this is coming from me, one of the regime's toughest critics on this forum.

No offense, but I think that's kind of a dumb definition of imperialism.
Calling North Korea an empire would be an extreme exaggeration. They are, however, aspiring imperialists, regardless of how distant their aspirations appear.

Make it impossible for Japan, South Korea, and the USA to invade or further isolate them, and possibly intimidate them into ending the war and normalizing relations. Something along those lines.
Are the workers who have to dig up the petroleum and uranium somehow immune from the obvious negative health effects they would otherwise suffer because they live in a "worker's republic"?
Let's talk about the scary petroleum and uranium excavation operations, but not the more mundane but equally difficult and dangerous jobs that must be done in order to maintain a society. It makes an idiosyncratic and un-implementable primitivist philosophy sound more palatable.
Is the Earth any less scarred and raped by the development and testing of North Korean nukes than Israeli nukes?
Well, given that North Korea's nuclear testing occurred underground and the South would understandably be even more pissed than they already are were they to get fallout all over their relatively small country, whereas the only 'known' (though none are officially acknowledged) nuclear test by Israel occured over the Indian Ocean. I'd say the answer is yes :P
It's pathetic how Leftists tend to root for the most pathetic imperialist powers under the pretense of "anti-imperialism".
Wow, what a precise and intellectually honest critique of 'Leftism' :tt1:

You're assuming incorrectly that rulers always behave rationally. I'm not trying to invoke the Western media stereotype that Kim Jong Il and his accomplices are any "wackier", more "eccentric", or more "deranged" than any other class of bourgeois politicians. It is still unwise, however, to apologize for the production of weapons designed soley for the mass-extermination of human life, under the presumption that those who have the control over this power of mass-extermination will only act in their rational self-interest.
Even if North Korea stuck to a strategy of strict rational self-interest, it doesn't justify even qualified support for their weapons program. Maybe if the North Korean regime offered its people something the American, Japanese, and South Korean capitalists didn't...

Uhh...OK
That there may be other jobs as "equally difficult and dangerous" as working on an oil rig or a uranium mine, that "must be done in order to maintain a society", is something I would dispute. Were it true, however, it wouldn't make uranium and petroleum excavation any less "scary", unnecessary, or destructive.
Well, given that North Korea's nuclear testing occurred underground and the South would understandably be even more pissed than they already are were they to get fallout all over their relatively small country, whereas the only 'known' (though none are officially acknowledged) nuclear test by Israel occured over the Indian Ocean. Very true, but it's very hard to drop a nuclear bomb anywhere any not expect drastic negative consequences. "The ocean" and "underground" are still parts of the Earth, afterall, although I suppose it is preferrable to tests conducted on land.
Wow, what a precise and intellectually honest critique of 'Leftism' :tt1:
I can't tell if you're being sincere or sarcastic, but it's definitely true in many cases.

What the hell? There's been no talk of North Korea "nuking hawaii" or launching a missile at Hawaii.
The talk has been of them doing their next nuclear test in the vicinity of Hawaii, with a possible flightplan in the direction of Hawaii.. and they ARE doing more nuclear tests, and soon. The NK government have themselves confirmed that (more nuclear tests soon).
