Im just brainstorming here:

Iran has 70% (or thereabouts) of their population which is under 30, the same goes more or less for the whole of the middle east. The revolts of '68 + before and after came at a time when those under thirty were also the majority (right?) - so, are we heading for a middle eastern '68?

In that light, there couldnt have been a better place for the revolt to start than in Iran, perhaps it'll break political islam's hold on anti-systemic opposition in the middle east.

as i said, just brainstorming....

no i was referring to the similarity in demographics between '68 in the west and right now in the middle east, i.e lots and lots of young'ns ^^ and what that might mean for years to come.

oh, and yes, we still need to finish what we started in '68 :lol:
